Design a 2015 desk calendar for Fedrigoni customers that promotes their Woodstock paper range.
The calendar will be for the attention of graphic designers and those with a keen interest in fine special papers. It will need to be genuinely useful, but also speak in a visual way which appeals to their high aesthetic standards. It should therefore be a creative, yet functional, piece which maintains awareness of the range throughout the year.
Concept + Solution

Arriving at the conclusion that, nowadays, most designers own Apple products equipped with synchronised calendars. My approach to this brief concentrated on the advantages of a physical calendar, as opposed to a digital form. All designers want to be creative, but often lack that inspirational spark. My response enables the user to engage in daily creative challenges to help fuel their creativity, as well as being introduced to various samples of the Woodstock range. Furthermore, these pages can be returned to the original packaging for future reference.

The calendar uses all 22 colours of the Woodstock range in a variety of different weights. The reverse of each leaf indicates the colour and weight of that specific sample, as well as specifying the other weights available in that particular colour. Answers to particular challenges can also be found on the reverse.
